And yes, it is Octobre again. Time for a renewal of my Folio Society membership. This year my choice was rather eclectic.: "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury, "The Periodic Table" by Primo Levi and William Faulkner's "As I lay dying". What more ? "The Oxford companion to Classical Literature" by Sir Paul Harvey, "Earth an intimate History", "A History of the world in 100 objects", "Year round things to do" and the ( like always ) beautiful illustrated 2012 Diary. Speaking about illustrations, this one is by Sam Weber who has illustrated the Fahrenheit book with 5 colour illustration. Strangely lifelike and hautingly beautiful.
